polyfill can be had at Wal-mart.

Sealed, 1.25, seriously

ported hits harder, but it will be louder around the tuned frequency...but it won't be too much excursion, just don't want it playing below the frequency of the enclosure.
For good all around sound, low bass, sealed.

mmmmmmmmmm..........that is only .84 ft^3. I dont think that will be big enough for a cvx? I would imagine you would want at least over 1 ft^3 for a 12".

im in the process of doing this also, i have 2 tens behind the seat now, they dont sound that great because they blast into the seat and there is hollow space there, iam probably going to pull the center console and put 1 12" cvx hittin the floor as far back as possible and then put another about where the console was and build armrest on to the box and some cup holders

This was back in the day, I think you'd have trouble fitting a twelve back there. This box needed mega persuasion to slide in there.
