what would be the best brand speakers to replace the factories in a single cab chevy?

Polk or Infinity are good...they can get pricey but they're definitely some of the best. I went with Rockford Fosgate 6.5's in the doors and Pioneer 4x6's in the pillars though because they were on sale at the time...they do the trick for my needs for now.

i ended up goin with rockford 6.5's and 4x6's. I'm putting them in today. Thanks for the replies.

I am running the jlaudio xr components......I have been EXTREMELY happy with them. I suggest you relocate the tweeter to the a-pillar no matter which way you go. It makes a big difference.
