Replace HU only with Bose LUX amp?
I bought a 2003 Sierra Denali with Bose LUX Y91 UQ7 codes. I am not an audiophile so I am not looking to upgrade the speakers or add sub, etc. I'd really just like to shove an android auto compatible head unit in the truck so I can use modern tech. The only thing I can about keeping is the wheel controls and maybe the chime.
Search results are a tad confusing for me as some people are saying modules are only compatible with the non lux bose amp?? If this is possible can anyone recommend a responsive head unit that wouldn't need an adapter plate (OEM size) and a module/interface cable?
