Well last week my wife told me her door lock on the drivers door wasnt working most of the time. Its a pretty common problem with NNBS SUVs, i do a few here and there at work but have never came across this problem. I put the new latch in and the lock works fine but now with the key out and the door open the radio and everything stays on, but it goes off after the 10 minutes. I tried putting the old latch back in but it still stays on. I know it has something to do with the retained accessory power but cant figure out how to fix it. I wouldnt mind killing the RAP feature all together because i think its pretty useless anyways. THANKS for any help!

 

Well problem solved!! Long story short i took it to a dealer and spent $100 to find out i got the wrong part to begin with! Got the new one in and everything is perfect.
