Default Question

I have a 1999 GMC Sierra SLE 5.3l

I'm trying to figure out of there is a way I can get the Doors to stop locking automatically. Mine lock at ~20mph, and they don't unlock when you put it into park, you have to manually unlock it which is a pain in the ***.

I figure there may be a wire going from the PCM to the BCM to tell it to lock up at that speed, is there one and can I clip it to stop it from locking?

Thanks.

i have an 06 lt with the dic and it is selectable, you can change it from lock with speed to lock in gear or not at all, and you can change when it unlocks between park and not at all. but in a truck without the dic i dont know that you can change it. maybe the dealership can do something with a tech 2, i dunno.

its the little display that shows your mileage, there are a bunch of options that you can go through with the controls on the steering wheel, but if your truck doesnt have that you might be able to have a dealer change some settings.
