Default PRNDL/NSS help!

Cant figure it out but since my 4L80e swap I've been catching snags. long story short Nic tells me that my PRNDL (or Neutral Safety) Switch is telling the truck that its constantly in gear (or park/neutral, I dont remember, either way its not right). So I got my shift cable adjusted and everything with the shifter is right. The PRNDL all reads correctly except park has never lit up since this PRNDL switch was put in neutral lights up then goes right out. I think its something wrong with the PRNDL switch since its never worked right since install. Just so Im not chasing my *** does it sound like I need a new one? and is there a difference between the 60e and 80e switches?

I used my 2000 switch on my 2004 4L80E... everynow and then my reverse lights dont come on. move the shifter a lil and they work... Thats the only problem i have.
Take the connectors off and plug them back in.

hmm well thats one of my problems, when I did the swap I couldnt completely disconnect it, cracked the housing and only got one connector off. I think it may need to be adjusted differently for the 80e?? but other than that I think it might be junk since its never lit up park anyway?

anyway, I think Im gonna just order the new PRNDL switch on ebay for like $20 when I order the injectors and pray it fixes it

thanks for the advise tho Nonnie
