Question precision power

does anyone on here have experience with precision power subs? someone told me they were pretty good and they're cheap on ebay....reviews?

well. PPI isn't what it was in the Art series days, but none of those AZ companies are.

The expensive subs are good but not the cheap ones... I will have to do some research

I have used PPI subs in competitions and they faired well. They are better at producing the "Higher" bass notes in smaller enclosures (100-250Hz). We spent alot of time on the dB Drag Racing circuit in the mid - late 90's and became friends with Alma and Patrick Gates who used PPI exclusively and did very well. In death match competitions, the coils will melt very quickly albeit the power levels they were exposed to were not your every day levels. IIRC, at very high power levels, the tinsel leads would arc and fry the coils instantly. All honestly, if you are just looking for some pounding bass, the PPI subs will do just fine IMHO.

yeah......its between a ppi 104 10 or a jl w3 10.....i know i otta just throw a w6 in there but i dont wana spend that kinda money on a sterio system....im not that much into it lol i just want a little bump....
