i think you should really look at how much room you have to work with and go from there when picking out an amp, for the subs it depends on you really and what type of bass your after, tight accurate SQ or booming loud lingering type?
if your just looking for "bass" any any decent brand subs and amp will do (kicker, rockford, memphis) box quality and wiring is important to tho mainly the amp power wire gauge size

Well since the truck is an extended cab and the speaker box will go underneath the back seat, I assume I don't have to much space. Some people have suggested to go with 2 10 inch speakers 500watts??? On each speaker. Some have recommended one 12 inch speakers with a high wattage. I had one 12 on my single cab but with a full custom build box. Sounded awesome but since am going with a downforce I want to exported other options. Thanks guys for all your comments still trying to decide.

well as for 10's or 12's a simple way to put it is two hard hitting 10's done right is going to cost you more then two 12's would but your going to give up sound quality since the 12's are not as responsive as 10's are the difference is not missed by the average person tho, as for power ALWAYS look at the RMS rating NOT peak some company's like to advertise 1400watt peak when its only 300watt RMS
two 12's in a good box with 400 to 500 rms amp proper gauge wires honestly should be plenty to rattle the car next to you at stoplights

Call a few place and got a few quotes. Decided to go JL Audio 10's W3 with a down fire probox and JL Audio amp. Several places said that i had to get the THIN LINE spears because of the space of the box (Probox down fire) which i didnt like but i wouldnt have to spend money on a custom or readjust my rear seat. What ya think?

So 1400 peak is really 750 rms or close to it, not 300

sirenhot, i'm passes my rattle all the windows on the block days (young and crazy) now just crazy! but like my music to still be a "little" bass heavy and i'm really pleased with the 10w3 i have in my car and its in a 0.65 cu. ft. sealed box witch it the smallest recommended. i can turn the bass down and listen to jazz, country or turn it up and pound to rap that shakes my whole car to the point change will bounce on the roof
i never used a probox but never herd any thing bad about them it was always guys loved them so i would think the 10w3 in probox with the right air space will work out pretty good unless your after really really hard heavy bass
