Anybody with first hand experience with this double din, mapping unit in a NBS?

great unit, but it does have alot of overheating issues. id stay away from it.

Thanks for the reply. I did some reading on it and appears people are having luck with an updated firmware?

Save yourself the trouble. Look for a D3.

I'm not fond of the looks of the D3, but yeah if I upgrade I will probably opt for the D3. Much less expensive than the Z2 and stable.

I don't like the D3 because it has no hard drive. Is it not true that when you use the Navigation CD that you can't listen to the radio or anything? That would suck on a long trip!

As I understand it. Yes you can listen to the radio and a CD but you could not change the route that is setup without swapping back in the NAV Dvd.

that is correct. its really not bad at all, you set your trip and then take the disc right back out.
