Default PASSLOCK - Truck wont run

Truck will only run for a second or two and just die. I do believe this is a PASSLOCK issue, I do have the VATS turned off in my tune with efilive.
Anyone ever delt with this issue? Does it just turn the fuel pump off or injectors or ignition?

I believe the VATS cuts the Fuel. Even if it's dissabled in the tune i have been told it should start but since it's tied into the BCM if something is damaged or not working correctly it may not allow the vehicle to start.

On a truck I was working on with the use of starting fluid we could get it to start briefly. Ended up needing a Key module that the tumbler sit's in and a new BCM. This was not a security Key either. Owner would not allow me to try and disable the VATS in the tune so I was never able to test it out.

You should see a pending code if there is a fault and you crank it long enough. You should also get some sort of intermittent Security light flashing as you crank.

Pull your door lock relays and see if it will run.

I would hate to throw money at something that's not the problem but I may have to.

What gets me is sometimes bypassing my alarm (viper) will start it.
