Is there any way to make the cargo lights turn on without the dome lights coming on. GM SI says when the BCM sees input from the switch it turns them both on. Its really annoying.

 

I dont think anybody has bothered with this. Hell it took me three years to figure out how to turn the cargo light on. It kinda happened by accident lol.

 

I wired my own switch for the cargo light only. I pulled power from the j box under the dash and tapped the cargo light circuit, switch with an indicator light is mounted in the panel under the steering wheel, next to the foot well light switch, the power fold mirror switch and the bass volume.

 

Not changeable without wiring up a switch like above.
