Well wasnt really lookin for a sub but saw this one on ebay for a killer price and i couldnt pass it up....

It is a Treo ssi 12" sub. Thought i would share some pics with ya and see what ya think....

Just the one is pretty dang loud though.....even at "break-in" volume.....

those subs are bad ***..treo is my favorite..that **** will pound. You should power it with a Zapco amp.

I dont mind. I picked it up for $75 shipped. I bought it off a guy in Minnisota that was closing down his car audio buisness and selling all his stock. Like i said i wasnt looking for a sub but for that price i couldnt pass it up....now if i can just find another one in the $150 range i will be happy....

 

It seems to be very well built, and i was suprised at how shallow it was......has nice thick surrounds and the magnet structure is 70oz. bigger than both my previous subs put together so needless to say i am excited. I will open it up on sat, i think that will be enough time for it to break in.

 

funny you should say that bc i was looking at getting a zapco.....i have a rockford T1000.1bd now that does about 1456 rms at 1 ohm but if i find another one of these subs i think i want to put about 1000 watts to each so i am in the hunt for an amp about 2000 rms at 1 ohm.....

 

the zapco will make the world a difference. They are very clean and powerful. Most amps say they pump a 1000 watts or whatever but they usually dont push that much but zapco pushes the full amount. A little pricey though. You pay for whatcha get..
