I run a kenwood excelon deck and am very happy with it. I think it ran around $200 and it does every thing I need it to do. Jl's are good but sometimes overpriced. I would search around before I bought the first pair I saw if I were you.

eclipse is the best headunit IMO. i have jl 6.5 in the doors and they rock!
by the way if you get jl be sure to get the two piece set, with tweeter separate, lasts much LONGER than a 1 piece set.

jl audio components are great...but if you're going with components check into RE they make a great set the RE6.5C but as far as a deck what are you looking for out of the deck? if you don't need video i would say go with a pioneer DEH-P5000UB or the DEH-P6000UB if you want something with the bluetooth already built in the DEH-P7000BT actually has the blue tooth built in and the 7000 has some more graphics figure to spend about 200 - 300 on the deck & 250 or so for the speakers

lol that's semi-fancy did you want a flip out or a double-din because even with a flipout you can figure to spend around 300 or more a double din pioneer makes the P4000DVD that starts around 500 that they sell at best buy if you're trying to spend under 250 then i would just keep that down to cd/mp3 & that DEH-P5000UB & the 6000UB both play Ipod, have USB connectability, MP3, & are extra easy to use...n2m you have the option to add on bluetooth later if you wanted
