im looking for screen that has: touch screen, dvd playback for my truck, reg cab 2005 silverado. The unit i have now is messing up so i need a new one. Let me know of any good ones u guys have or have herd of. thx

 

pioneer is always a good way to go.

 

I have always liked Alpine personally. Interface was very easy to use, good sound reproduction, and lots of versatility as far as what you can hookup with them. Personally I like the IVAD310.

 

The Alpine IVA-D310 is badass, got one for just over $1,000.

 

I also just picked up that alpine but FOR 300.00$, WITH 3 1/2 years of warranty left and the receipt when purchased from best buy.

 

Basically all of the screens out there are pretty good even Dual has a touch screen now. Alot of the screens are basically made by the same company with the exception of Alpine's Pulse touch and Pioneer's EGLR screen. Just don't get some off the wall brand remember your paying for the inerds.
