Default New center console with engine turned aluminum

check out my new center console i made. mind you this is my first box build but i think it came out really nice! details on the box. sealed about .9 cf, 3/4 MDF construction, coated in fiberglass resin, skim of filler, blocked and shot in some straight black. i believe its a volvo color. got a JL 10wo.... i know... way small. the panel is engine turned aluminum sheet with some momentary switches in there. will end up being power windows, cutout, nitrous activation and purge. or change switches for line lock. not sure yet. stainless cup holders also.

now heres the goods

well considering ive got the same amount of power going to each component it doesnt hit all that hard. sub is turned up pretty high while components are actually turned down and at higher volume i think there is more base coming from them. it fills in the 90 hz or so and below very well though. this setup in my truck is more for sound quality not spl

if i had the time i would. but itd be some $$ ive got about 40 hours total into this thing. mind you the second time around would be much faster but really it wasnt all that hard. aside from the paint side of things normal tools were used. got about 80 in materials again aside from the paint part of it which cost nothing. most expensive thing was the switches at about 8 bucks a piece
