Run one set of components in the front doors with about 100-150 watts on them and call it a day. Leave your rear speakers disconected, you want all your music coming from in front of you.

As for speaker choice, Phoenix Gold Has a very good intry level component set found on ebay for around $90 shipped. Also, Pioneer Primeer has a good set for a little more, around $250 I believe.

Ya for sure get and amp and push some power to them. 53bowtie is right. Focus on the front speakers the most. Spend your money there. Especially not having a back seat, dont worry about the rear. Or use a lot of fade and push the sound stage forward.

You need an amp. Just get a two channel and run your fronts and not worry about your rears. Then get some component speakers. I like JL audio. Look at what the tweaters are made out of. I like the silk over the metals.

Do some looking around on websites. You can find cheaper prices if you spend a little searching time.

Kicker RS562 or RS652, depending on speaker size. has the 25mm silk dome tweeters.

Those look pretty good. Is the crossover built into the woofer?

The Phoenix Gold mentioned above look like a quality product for the price you can get them for. With a price like that you can get an amp too and not have to spend much at all. I think that would be a good budget setup.

On the RS, crossover is seperate, has a tweet out and mid out...but can be mounted as a coax, or seperate like a real component setup.

Oh okay ya I saw how you can switch between component and coaxial. Thats kind of cool. Makes it pretty universal.
