I did the white for a while, but it was so damn bright. I opted for the blue. I also did strips in the HVAC controls and cluster. I had an issue with a few leds going bad running the 470 ohms, and bumped it up 670 ohm.

Looks great! Is the 470 ohm resistors the problem cause I have had a few bulbs go out on me. Did they stop burning out once you switched to 670 resistors?

 

Yeah everywhere I read originally said 470, so i ran them. About 2 weeks in i got a couple in my steering wheel flicker, and eventually burn out. At that point I decided to swap to blue, and bumped them up to 680 ohm, and havent had an issue since.

 

Damn, one of the best cluster works ive seen yet, love the Cat-Eyes Chevy body style....
