I ordered a Nelson harness and a tuned PCM from them. They should be here Wednesday. I've heard good things about their products so I'm looking forward to it.

Well the stock clutch fan is always spinning, so it's pretty much the same thing. When I had my Z28, the fans seemed to be on low most of the time after the motor warmed up. I'm not sure if they were on ALL the time though. I'm guessing the LS1 fans are used to a pretty high duty cycle.

I got my Nelson harness and PCM yesterday. The harness looks very nice, but I won't be able to hook it up until next week. I need to finish rebuilding the motor first.

Did you ask Nelson how he tunes the PCM for the fans, ie what temperatures they are set to?

Bought Nelson harness, easy hook up works great, when the engine gets up to temperature that i set in computer they turn on low,and low is not pushing alot of air, when a/c kicke on they both kick on high, there is 3-green wires to hook up for the fans when a/c is on but i have not hooked it up yet not sure which one ? But when that wire gets 12volts it kicks the fans on high,so why couldnt i hook that a/c wire up to the fan power to kick on high when it gets up to temperature instead of low ?Anybody know why this wouldnt work very good ??? Thanks
