Ok cool I was told to do this by a fellow forum member and my buddy at the dealer so its will work but I will post it up later

I don't think it works on the 03+ double din RDS head units, does it?

that I dont know, have only confirmed it on my 02 denali, but GM usually doesnt change there ways unless they absolutely have too.
