Im looking at picking up a new cd player for my 2003 silverado and was wonder what will work with the factory bose speakers? The factory one in the truck sounds awsome but the damn cd player wont eject the cd thats in it. I heard you cant just use any head unit if you have the factory bose equipment.
Thanks for any help you guys can offer. I might get a dvd navigation unit.

theres a few company's who make them "PAC" is the most popular in my area, its not that hard to wire up "if" you messed around with installing audio before

 

you can use any stereo you just need to buy the proper harness or do it. the harness or module is like 100 bucks, kinda pricey. I love how the bose sounds I only wish they came out on rcsbs. I highly recommend a pioneer double din, that what im running in my 03 and it is awesome.

 

I definetly want to stay with the bose. I also have the steering wheel controls for the radio.

 

I have a MINT OEM Bose 6 disc cd head unit
