Ok I had a question for anyone out there. Does anyone own that Jensen 7 inch motorized in-dash screen screen that cost about $420 bucks? I have seen it and I am very curious about quality/performance because of the low price (most pioneer and others are $900-$1200). I have a flush mounted 7 inch in my consle and was wanting to install a motorized in the dash with the tax return money coming in. Any feedback or suggestions? Also anyone know a good backup camera that I can install?

i currently have the 911 model, gauging by the price your prolly looking into the 411 model. i assume the only differences are the features and that they would have the same build quility etc. mine has held up well, screen is still sensative but was never over sensitive and i have never had to recalibrate it or w/e and you still activiate exactly where you touch (ive seen some you had to touch further left than you really wanted and such). the only thing that may be of some concern to me is i am starting to hear some chatter, almost like some gears trying to strip on the cd eject motor, but there is a 1 yr mfg. warranty and i opted for the 2 yr where i bought it (circuit city) so its really no sweat. the dvd player has a really crisp and clear picture and the screen angle is fully adjustable so you can compensate for direct sunlight. the screen opens very smoothly etc. any other questions just ask away

oh and as far as backup camera im not sure... but at my local audio shop i inquired about a compatible navigation system and they recommended i use only the jensen brand, but the hookup for the backup camera is only one plugin and i assume they might be universal to some extent so maybe any would work?

 

i have the one your talking about and it is a pretty good setup for the price it is not touch screen. it is a bit lacking on the EQ compared to other brands but it is ok just use the manual EQ cuz the presets suck. but other than that it is a great buy. it has the remote mounted box and is ipod compatible and will work with your other screen and XM ready. also DVDr, CDr and Video cd compatible. so you can put videos on a disk and play them back without having to engage the E-brake and do a DVDr with like 1000 mp3's. for the price it is an alright deal

 

Off topic, smokedsierra how do you like the single solobaric setup under your seat, i got two m3 memphis 12's under my seat and im not too happy with them...Ive got two l5 10 solos in my room and i was thinking of building for them or either trying out the new p3 rockford shallow mount subs

 

I actually have 2 Solo L7's. I like them but I dont have enough power to them to get the "full effect." I'm not really into the window shattering base anymore, but for all around crisp sound you cant beat a solo-barac 10.
