Default Interior lighting question

Has anyone upgraded their interior lighting to courtesy lights under the dash in the later model trucks. My 84 and my 91 had the lights down under and I want to have that in the 2011 Sierra. With the newer electrical systems, I am going to have to see what I can do to wire without impacting the wiring loading. I have some ideas, but if there is something out there that would make it easy, I am all for it.

It is 4 in the morning and I don 't have time to search right now.
