Default Interface for MP3 player into 04 Chevy with Bose

I'm trying to find an adapter to add an auxiliary input to my 04 Silverado with Bose. I saw the PAC audio unit but it says you need to have the slave unit in place, which I do not. I just have the factory 6 disc in-dash changer. Any help is appreciated.

from everything that i've seen as far as what everyone is doing i see a lot of FM modulation...i don't like to go that route because if you go under an overpass or something like that you usually lose signal but that's what i've seen...maybe someone else knows a better way?
