Default instrument cluster

This may be a foolish qestion but....how can I keep a factory look instrument cluster once my build-up is done. More specifically, the tachometer, 6000 ain't gonna cut it and I really don't want gauges on the column or pillar. I've looked and the only factory set-up with a 7000 tach is in the trailblazer, I don't think that that cluster will work in the sierra. I've yet to see a satisfactory aftermarket. Any ideas? 2006 gmc, reaching for 400hp

You'll have to shop for an aftermarket but none of them go to 7k that I've seen.
Stock tach's are also notoriously inaccurate.

Geesh, did you guys not follow my "Here" link in post #4? He has 7k tachs.
Look the guy's store over and call him if you have questions. The police cluster did not come with a trans temp gauge and I called and BAM!

He is great. He uses all new stepping motors and everything is very accurate. The tach although only 6k is spot on according to a hand held and speeds match a Garmin 60csx perfectly.
