Default How many sq ft. of dynamat for rc?

I want to cover the doors and back wall of my 04 reg. cab. Anybody know how many sq. ft it will take? My truck's in the shop right now or else I'd go measure Thanks

If you are already going to have everything out of the truck my suggestion is rhino line the whole inside of the truck. I know it might sound stupid but my buddy did it on his 96 Impala SS and it sounded amazing. You can also complete it in one weekend.

rhino lining works... anything that adds mass works really. lol. all you are doing is mass loading the panels to stop the vibration of the panels.

This excerpt is from Fullsizechevy courtesy of Cody (Exalted512)

First off, everyone asks how much for their vehicle for specific spots. Here's a generic guide to go by:

Front Doors
Single cab, Extended cab, and Crew cab
8 sq ft PER door

Rear Doors
Extended cab
5 sq ft PER door
Crew cab
8 sq ft PER door

Headliner
Single cab
15 sq ft
Extended cab
20 sq ft
Crew cab
22 sq ft

Floor
Single cab
15 sq ft
Extended cab
22 sq ft
Crew cab
26 sq ft

Back wall
Single cab, Extended cab, and Crew cab
8 sq ft

Notice that all the doors are rated per door. That is only including the inner door skin, double the number to do the outer door skin.

keep in mind that rino lining is much more expensive than dynomat and you dont absolutely have to cover every square inch of metal with the dynomat to get results.....
