Default How do you disable the alarm without the clicker?

My brother lost his keys this weekend for his 01 silverado ECSB and we're getting a new key made but he doesn't have a clicker anymore since it was on the keychain that he lost. I disconnected the battery so the alarm would STFU but when if comes time for me to reconnect it, it's gonna go off again and be annoying as all **** and probably have the VATS kick on and I won't be able to start the car. Any way to start this thing?

I thought of turning the vats off with HPT but I loaned it to someone so I don't have it with me this week.

with the alarm triggered it shouldn't try to start tho.

At least that's how my factory alarm is.

if trying to use the new key doesnt work im sure a stereo shop or the dealer could bypass it.

Not sure if this will work, but open the door with the new key, roll down the window, reset the alarm with the battery, then unlock it with the button on the inside. I think that will turn off the alarm. Worth a shot.

if it's the factory alarm, then you just stick the key in the door lock and unlock it. that disables my factory alarm anyway. when you press the lock button and then shut the door, it will arm the alarm, so you don't have to worry about anyone messing with your truck.

Thanks for the help guys...but my brother's an idiot!!
He didn't know that he had an aftermarket alarm let alone a valet switch. And 20 min after I paid $200 for a locksmith to make him a new key he finds his F'ing keys!!
I was kinda expecting it but it sucks to be right sometimes!
Oh well.

Thanks for the help anyways...

The couch...
And we both checked there like half a dozen times too! I figured since he has a new key I could put my house back together and the first thing I did was put the cushions back on the couch and I heard a jingle...and then I knew
