About to purchase stuff to convert a rear view with the compass/themp. from a silverado/tahoe to fit into my f-body. I understand that the temp. has a sensor but what about the compass. I looked and cannot find anything external for the compass, so my guess would be that everything for the compass to function would be enclosed in the mirror itself, correct?
