it should slide in from the front and there should be some little metal tabs on the head unit itself that you flip out with a flathead screwdriver to hold it in place. for my pioneer there were two on the top and bottom and one on each side. hope this helps!

oh yeah, almost forgot...i didnt have to use any of the extra brackets that came with the metra kit, so if you dont see a use for them they probably arent needed for your vehicle. those kits fit a very wide variety of cars and trucks so they have to include the extra crap for all of them.

hmm, those metal tabs should prevent it from sliding out. im assuming that the metra kit mounts solid to where the factory radio was screwed in, its just the head unit that is still lose in the dash kit? if so, you may have to figure out one of the brackets to use that came with the kit. only thing i can think of without seeing it would be one of the brakets may screw to the side of the metra kit and hold the head unit up in the rear.

is it a double din or single din? if double din then just use the side brackets and screw them to the sides of the radio and use the trim plate on the front that clips to the brackets if that makes since....if single din lock the radio cage in tight and slide the radio in.. hope that helps u some
