Default Headlight Issue

Ok. Im worried since in the past 10 days ive modified my truck so much that the dealership i bought the truck from wont cover something that happened under warranty. Heres the scoop. I bought an HID kit from some guy over at showtruckscene.com and one of the ballasts went. It was covered under warranty but i never sent it out. So after i bought my new truck, i decided i would try and figure out which balast went crapola in my last truck. Plugged it in and now the lights are fugged up on my truck. Just the headlights by themselves not the HID's. regular halogen bulbs. When i have low beams on, the passenger side low beam is on 100 percent. Everything else is on 50 percent, including high beams. When i flick to high beams, the passenger side high beam is on 100 percent. Everything else is on 50 percent. The highs shouldnt be on at all when the lows are on and vice versa. so....now what?...let me see if i can get a pick up but thats basically it.

id check your grounds, im not sure on these trucks but my camaro had a corroded ground by on of the headlights and would do the same thing.
so check over the wiring make sure everything has good contact, and if you find were the headlights ground to the chassis take it of and clean it up with some electrical contact cleaner
I hope this helps
