Default Which gauges needed?

I have two Aerospace Intercepter scan gauges, a wideband Dynojet Commander AFR and a Cyberdyne vac/boost with memory. I've also got a aftermarket tach/shift light.

I saw the link to the gauge pod that fits in the overhead console and I'd been thinking I'd like to have a fuel pressure gauge.

The scan guage gives me intake air temp, trans temp etc so what gauge would I want to have to fill the other hole in the overhead and what fuel pressure guage is recommended for use with the Radix?

Anybody know of or running a Radix Intercooler water temp gauge?

Thanks, Jim

I ran a water temp gauge in my intercooler line for awhile. Didn't really tell me much. You'd be better off watching your IAT's through the Interceptor.

Fuel pressure would be a good choice. The Autometer electric ones come with a sender that will thread right into the port on the driver's side fuel rail, other brands may be the same. I have gotten by just fine with a fuel pressure, tranny temp, and boost gauge. I will be adding a pair of Interceptor gauges at some point as well, once I have the laptop out of the truck when I am done tuning it. As for you, I dunno what I would put in the other hole. Maybe it would be a good idea to get a separate tranny temp gauge, so you can leave 4 other thing displaying on the Interceptor gauges. Other than that, maybe a clock??

Dude, autometer makes a clock in most of their series. It's like $60 though!

You can put a narrow band O2 guage for a little Bling, Bling light show

6.0, turbo, t56. Sounds like fun!

I have to assume from all these "humorous" responses that I'm pretty well covered gauge-wise.

I think you're just fine. The only thing that even comes to mind is a pyrometer to monitor your EGT's, I don't think it's real important but if you have a hole to fill and $$ to spend (not like that ) it might be somewhat informative at least.

I think you have enough guages. Exhaust gas temps are more critical with Turbos and that is only if you are towing.
I'll have pics and stuff about my build before too long, just trying to tie up all my loose ends first.

You look like you've got it covered but if you have to fill that space I'd go with a fuel pressure or maybe an egt or maybe that DPIC gauge (gtech in a gauge). Just some ideas.
