Default factory subwoofer

i have a 00 yukon with a factory sub and there are only two wires running into it, i was wondering if i can just unplug those from the factory sub and run them into the speaker level inputs on my aftermarket amp?
also where would i run the remote wire from, im keeping the factory head unit.

thanks for the help

in my old AV i tapped into the wires from the factory bose amp to the sub (4 wires) and used a line level converter to hook up to the amp, the remote wire i found a fuse in the fuse panel that comes on with ignition and off when off. buy tapping and not removing the wires i at least had the factory sub when i needed to remove the others. it was a GREAT setup, if you have any Q's pm me and i will answer them to the best of my knowledge, i have the color codes on the wiring from the bose amp if you need it.
