Default drive side door electronics

alright randomly this morning out of no where my truck keeps thinking the driver side door is open and none of my electronics are working on it.... any ideas? today after work im going to start going through fuses etc. just wanted to know if anybody as had an issue like this before.

Door stop switch is built into the latch mechanism. Ive had pretty good luck disassembling and cleaning them. Did it on my Tahoe and Buick. Both were in-op before and both now function fine. I use a tooth brush, rubbing alcohol and sparingly lube them with dry graphite. Need to pull it out of the door to clean the contacts tho

so probably just dirty contact making the computer think its open..... i will try that this afternoon thank you sir

I couldn't power lock mine. The vehicle registered the doors closed, but the power lock wouldn't lock. They pretty simple to get out and unclip to get to the innards. New ones are like $30 for the NBS. I think you have an NNBS now?

Yes sir, i have a 2008 gmc now. im gonna clean everything first and see if that works then move on to checking voltage fuses etc .

well thanks for all the input checked fuses first everything was good, pulled the gasket in between the door and body and there it was plain as day broken wire, cut in a new wire good as new thanks guys
