I did this modification to my 2001 Suburban this past summer. Not all that hard to do. Just a few minor modifications here and there.

This is a picture of what the silverado looks like. I apologize because the other is out of a 2002 Suburban that is the same as the Sierra and Escalade it does not have the wood trim and is dark grey as well. I will take $60 shipped for each

Done. Looks good enough for me. The pictures don't really do the screen justice when its on. Its crystal clear during a movie and normal operation. I have it wired so my kids can watch a DVD in the back (seperate DVD player), with wireless headphones, and I can play a DVD up front and listen to it through the speakers or play the radio/Sirius/CD. Sounds better than the Bose 3-2-1 system in my house.

Hey, I'm considering getting a new kenwood flip out screen for my Silverado. Did you wire yours up for the parking brake bypass? If so, how difficult was it? I know it's a PIA for Pioneer, easier for Alpine, but haven't heard much about the Kenwoods.

You just wire the brake wire from the radio to ground. Thats it. I just twisted it in with the other radio ground. If you don't have On-Star and a 2000-2002 truck I have a wiring harness that might work.
