Default Custom light wiring

I've got ccfl halos wired to my marker lights, and they look great, but if I want to run them in the daytime I have to switch my markers on, and that makes my taillights burn during the day. I want to keep them wired to my markers, but I also want to run a jumper wire to the + on my DRL's. That way they will be on automatically during the day and at night. But if i do run a jumper and have 2 different + wires feeding the halo's transformer, the voltage will flow backwards across the jumper wire, so the markers would turn on the DRL's, and vica-versa. My question is what would be the best way to solve that problem, by using relays, or putting diodes inline with both of the + wires? I was thinking diodes would be the simplest, but I don't know what rating I need cause I have no idea how many amps the halo's pull. Has anybody with an amp meter tested there's before? I have a multimeter but it only does voltage and resistance. Also, I have replaced the DRL and marker light bulbs with LED bulbs, and was wondering if anybody knows what rating resistor I need to solve the fast blinking turn signal problem?

Depending on the amount of current going to the lights, I'm recommend using diodes if you can.

yeah use diods and jump the 85? pin from the relays. all done in the fuse box like the high-4 mod
