Default Cluster rebuild, still problem

So i did the LED swap and stepper motor swap into my 03 cluster. Checked everything with 12v, its good. I plug the board into the pin connector and my lights dont light.. So i get to fiddling with the wires, and when i pull the harness up/forward towards the drivers seat, they light up. If i let go, lights go away. What could be the issue?

Also my stepper motors came with no instruction as to how to set them.. Any help there? Pretty sure my volts arent reading -24 volts. Id hate to have to pay the dealer to fix this

Any help is much appreciated!!
