im about to replace a cluster in a yukon xl with a used one(don't know the actual millage on the cluster)and was wondering if i can get the correct mileage programed from the dealer. I'm thinking it should be stored in the pcm maybe?

quick question. Why are you replacing it with yours? If yours is faulty, due to stepper motors, you can have yours repaired almost as much as a dealer wants to charge you to reset. (well, maybe not that much, but you can get it repaired cheap and quick)

yea its because of the stepper motors i tried changing the speedometer one and it didn't work, and also after i put it back together the oil gauge was not working correctly. should i try another motor in the speedo, and change the oil one too? i did some in the past and didnt have a problem. what did i do wrong dis time?

I sent mine to this guy, $65, fixes all new stepper motors, all new dash lights and can even do LED color for a tad more, calibrates it all, same day turn around.
