You can put LED's in the backup's and it'll really brighten things up. I have hyperwhites in my reverse lights and they're pretty bright for ricer Xenon bulbs.

I got a pair of 45 LED reverse lights for my Tahoe off ebay. They were not any brighter than my stock bulbs, and they looked very ricey with their almost blue color, so I sent them back for a refund. The LED lights are also not directional, so they do not utilize the mirror shroud of the taillight to direct the beam, they just scatter light in every direction.

Here are some 50watt bulbs you can try: http://autoaccessconnect.stores.yaho...0wa31babu.html
I have heard that they burn out very fast though, and they can run very hot (but how long are you usually in reverse anyway?). Let us know what you do.

You could set up a fog/kc light to the rear somewhere. Then tap it into the reverse light wiring.

I did this on my blazer. First I had 2 under the bumper, but ripped one off while climbing a hill. Took them off and put 4 on top onto one of those lil spoilers that bolt onto the window hinge.

Just go to walmart and get a couple small driving lights that they have. Bolt them up on each side of your tow hitch. Wire them into your backup lights and there you go. Should be more than enough light.

Edit: found a pic for you.
