If you are looking for brighter headlights, stay in the 4000k-6000k range. Beyond that you lose intensity.

Have you tried silverstars? I replaced all my lights with em and people tell me how bright my lights are all the time.

I put PIAA halogens in mine and they work fine for me. Plenty bright, clean white color, and didn't cost a too much.

I've got Silverstars for high beams and HID's for my low beams. The HID's are so bright, it hardly makes a difference when I turn on my highbeams.
I would rather spend $100 on HID's than $25 on Silverstars anyday.
