box for a tahoe with no 3rd row seat?
i got my components all straightend out, now im working on some subs, i have 2 RF punch P12d2s, and 800 watts to power them up
i have an 04 tahoe with no third row seat, every post ive read about boxes in tahoes has been with the 3rd row seat so the box is real cose to the class.
should i still rear fire the subs? i would mount the box agesnt the 2nd row seat so there would be alot of room between it and the glass
thanks guys

ok so i got bored and kinda figured some stuff out
im gonna build a rectangular box, ported. im gonna build 2 seperate boxes and then put them together so each sub is sealed from the other.
i liked punk/ and metal so im gonna port the boxes, i bought 2 4" flared ports- can i put them in the top of the box- fireing to the ceiling? i dont have alot of depth in the box to fire them out the front- RF recomends a 4" 10" long port, and the depth on my box is gonna be 10 3/8. so that makes the inside 1 1/2" even shorted including the MDF
im gonna build it tomorrow and ill see how i like it

That box that I am selling is perfect for an SUV. Try to find something like and you can ever reverse mount your subs inside the box if you wanted

Volfenhags...ewww.
To make it easy, go to your local audio shop and get a ported enclosure that they recommend for your woofers, unless you want to build one custom. I can design you one if you want. Only take a few minutes. PM me for more details.
also, sub up, port back is always good. Just as much SPL as with the subs and port facing the rear, and seems to sound better doing it.
I've got a RE SX 15" in a bigass 5.5 cu ft box tuned at 33hz in my Yukon powered by a jbl bp1200.1. It makes everything...flex and shake
broke my rear ac controls with it, too

Like I said, if you want a custom ported box made for your woofers, go to the woofer's manufacturer's website and give me the specs. I'll design you one free of charge that you and some buddies can put together in a few hours. Let me know!
