my truck is an 04 so it does have the wide protector on it and i am thinking of mounting it there if i cant come up with something else

finally got it installed! i picked the tailgate protector its a nice clean install not really noticeable but not the best over all viewing angle i can see the hitch perfect (main reason for installing it) and about 15 to 20ft behind the truck. its a little odd though since you just see ground, i might try to heat up the plastic and see if i can get it angled up a little and the plastics a little warped so the angle shows a little more of the passenger side that annoys me

i drilled about a 1/2 hole behind the protector for the wires then opened up one of the drain hole in the bottom of the tailgate
