Default Alternator dimensions

Is the 130 amp alternator physically bigger than the 105amp unit? I don't have any room to play around with. Thanks.

If memory serves me right it is physically bigger. I replaced a 105 with a 130 on my last truck.
I have a 145 amp, and it is different also.

I know that my 145 amp (GM original part) is no more than 1" larger than the 105 amp that it replaced, so judge by that if you can get away with it
