Default Alternator

I am wondering if i need a alternator for my electronics or not? I have a pioneer head unit, 300 watt woofer, 340 watt 6by9s all the upgraded factory speakers, tonnes of neons and leds, sat radio and will be getting more. When its cranked my volts can drop to around 13.4 going highway speed.

I am having the same issues with no stereo equipment. But to answer your question YES I would definetly get one. The 200 AMP would work wonders for you

yep 105 is standard 130 and 145 are opt.

05 and newer come with 145's because of electric fans..Also they dont work on 99-04

If you can get a deal on the alternator, get it. Otherwise, give more detailed specs about the system...

I had a 2100 watt RMS system in my 94 explorer.... 1800 watts rms to the subs, and 300 to the speakers. A 200 amp alternator and a high cranking amp battery did the trick. I don't see why the 105 amp alternator wouldn't do the job for your setup.....

(FYI, the alternator I Bought was from www.Mean-Green.com . Decent prices, and a great product)
