Default Air/Fuel gauge question

there is an air/fuel ratio gauge in summit racing and it uses the stock O2 sensor. My question is will this work good enough to give me a decent reading? I was told this was a good mod to have when i get nos to monitor if i start running too rich or lean. Also, would the steering column pod they have work on my 05? they say it will fit 2000 to 2003, im thinking if it fits the 2003 then it would have to fit mine. gauge part #CYB-7009. Pod part number ATM-15007

That gauge is a narrow band gauge, some will say its not worth it cause its just a light show. Under normal driving I will agree with them, but under 3/4 to full throttle it shows a better reading since you should always be rich at that point. I put mine on a switch so it doesn't keep flashing back and forth under normal driving like mentioned above. Don't know about the column cover though.
