This is exactly what I was going to say. You can combine both doors on the 1st unlock trigger wire and use the trigger wire for the 2nd unlock to trigger pretty much whatever you want, including remote start.

is this what you guys are talking about? i had this bookmarked from along time ago when i researched it.. never got anymore info on it though..

 

Basically all i want, is my factory system but i want it to start the truck as well. no aftermarket system with new remote.

Yes but to me it sounds like they are talking about adding it to an aftermarket system. i just want to make my STOCK system start the truck.

i got one laying in the shop that will work on your truck. let me see if i can remember who makes it. i know all i had to do was press the unlock button 3 times and the truck started with the factory keyless. ill have to go look at it to see who makes it.


edit: i read thru the posts and i believe i have that 551T but you have to get another box for it to work with the theft system. its really not that pricey to be honest with you.

 

can you tell me what u used. i think you and i are on the same page.
