Default AC issue

my truck's ac started acting up about a week ago. it works just fine until i put it on 5 then it shuts off on any other setting it works just fine.. but when i hit 5 it goes dead need help quick because its been like 100+ here.....

dude my truck is like a billion degrees when i get in it after its been in the sun all day.. it blows not having a blasting ac lol...

ITs your blower motor Resitor thingy... i cant remember th dang name of it..
Take the cover off the passenger side under the dash.. See the motor? Follow the wires to the connector. Pull that peice out (7mm socket i think?, Could be a 6mm?) It should be burnt..

yeah its a simple fix...mine was doing the same thing, well sorta...it wouldnt work on 1, 2, 3 so I was freezing all the time or sweating...

I got mine from my buddy at the stealership.. and i think it was $38? with his discount.. not sure on that price but it wasnt expensive.

#5 doesnt go through the resistor, you have a blown fuse!!!

not to hijack. but i have a similar problem. I've changed the relay under the hood and the 30 amp in the dash but still won't engage at all. it won't even come off the vents. the blower works but everything else is dead. happend right after my PCM swap.

Tried a VAT Relink but the damn thing never confirms or denies success.
