99 silverado - replacement speakers?

Default 99 silverado - replacement speakers?

what are some good speakers to replace with. i dont need an amped set up, just a replacement.

I would say some Kenwood or Pioneers.. When mine start goin out, im replacing them with Kenwoods and gettin a good Head unit.. My factory cd player stop working and the cds would get stuck in there, so i bought a lower end Poineer CD player from my friend for $100.. and thats it for now.

well i just want to make sure i get the right wattage and resistance. i replaced some ones in my trans am one time and they didnt work for anything and they were polk audio.

the factory resistance is 4ohm front and rear

My rears were 8ohm stock if I remember right.

go with pioneer. they're cheap but really good sound quality. i installed a lot of those on my customers cars and they were eally happy!

I replaced my 99's door speakers with Infinity Reference. I think they sound great! I tokk them out when the truck was totaled, and my new truck has Bose, so Im getting rid of them. Pm me if you are interested

I Have Pheonix Gold In My Truck Now And It Sounds Pretty Dam Good. But Infinity Is Also Very Good Had Those In My Last Truck.
