Im looking for a indash nav and I dont want a flip up. Id like something like the double din but for my 1-1/2 din.

I've never seen a 1.5 DIN non-flip-out nav.

I've seen people modify the 99-02 bezel to accomodate a 2DIN nav, but they still looked a little chopped up.

I thought I'd also seen where someone here replace their dash bezel with an 03+ model and moved the HVAC controls down a bit. It took a lot of modification but it was not visible. I think they may have had to replace other components of the dash as well, perhaps the glovebox, to make it fit right.

You're definitely going to want to use an aftermarket nav though....the factory 03+ one's absolutely will not work in a 99-02.

I think the 03+ conv. would be the simplest / cleanest way to go about that. You'll lose the cigarette lighter sockets / ashtray though.
