Default 7" In Dash Flip Out??

I am in the narket for a new single din in dash 7" flip out. I currently have a Pioneer 7300DVD with an 9000 provessor. It has worked great for the last 5 years, but I think it is time to upgrade. I want something with at least comparable sound quality. Navigation is not important. I am not partial to any brand. I dont want tp spend more than $1500.00. I really dont want to run an EQ.

All comments welcome.

This deck will be running to amps, JL 300/4 and 500/1 into MB Quartz Premium components in the front and rear. and JL W6 12's.

Thanks!!

is there a reason you want a flip out? if it were mine id convert up to a double din and run a nice complete in dash screen. you would save yourself some cash that way too.

you need to get a new dash bezel surround, and also a dash bucket. everything else will still be the same.

they're not really known to be top of the line......

although i saw a double din dual dvd player at best buy for like $500 and for 40ish bucks extra you can get a 4 year warranty, sounds like a decent deal. as far as performance...

I looked at some flip outs and double din style decks:

For the double din, I think the Pioneer D3 is the best value at around $900.00.

For a flip out, I like the Alpine D310 $999.99 and Pioneer 7800DVD $2200.00.

Anybody have experience with these units??
