I would love to see the "functionality" of a 50ft^3 box........per speaker lol. There is no way I would run those, way too much time to try to make them fit and you dont know what your gonna get with only 30w going to them.
Actually forget what I just said. I just realized you would be able to tell people you had them running off your deck and the looks would be priceless. In that case please do it and take videos!!!

and I'd bet 30 watts to it, you wouldn't even know it's on. While the Sd is large, you need Sd, and some good Xmax to make it loud.

When I was in highschool everyone had 15s &18s. The 24" sub was around but no one I knew had one. I had some 15" M&M Godfathers, man those things would beat hard. My friend had two 15" kicker solobarics(when they first came out, the round ones), those things were like a hard kick to the back. Not too many people run large speakers anymore, you can get great sound with the smaller ones now days.

To me there would be nothing worse than to spend all that time on it and it end up either not working properly or not being as loud as you thought it would be.
oh, and I doubt you would get a hair trick with it. Granted cone area is the biggest factor you still need to have plenty of power to go with it. I dont see 30" on 30watts moving hair, or getting into the 40's at a frequency the human ear can hear for that matter.

I agree. Unless you have a lot of time and money on your hands I would go with something of a 10 or 12 that has a reputation of getting loud so you know what you are installing.
