3 subs, which amp?
#14
It doesnt matter that it makes max power at 1 ohm. It still makes power at 3 ohms just not as much because there is more resistance. But in his case with three comps, less is more when they are put on that amp, so for him, 3 ohms would be better than 1ohm so he doesnt blow his subs.

like said above find out what ohm load ur subs are then base your amp off of that or you may be dissapointed. there are alot better amps than the kickers and memphis for a lesser price some of the higher end digital audio amps which are made by audiobahn are very good amps so are if you can get your hands on one the mmats d1000.

actually we just did a setup like this with 3 cvr's...the new model though dual 4's and put it on a 1000 watt 2channel from addictive audio...sounded pretty nice...i mean the owner had no complaints (IMO if i'm gonna go with 3 subs i'd probably go with something other than comps)

ok well now i got 4 subs, 2ohm ones and they are comp 10's the new ones, just the single voice coil(due to mounting depth) i have 2 behind the seat and 2 in the center console, which amp do i need to get a hold of?

you can either run 2 ohms or .5 ohms. Unless an amp says so I would not run it down to .5 ohms + you need a good electrical set up to do so (not just one batt and stock alt).
So I would find an amp that does between 600-800 watts at 2ohms and you should be good.
